Biographical Comments
Ed was proud to be a Fire Fighter for the City of Lethbridge serving for over 35 years. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1968 and Fire Prevention Bureau in 1973 where he held the rank of Fire Prevention Officer #3 in charge of investigations and new construction. He received the Medal of Exemplary Service presented by The Honorable Lieutenant Governor of Alberta. He enjoyed his work but he especially enjoyed the camaraderie and support of his fellow fire fighters. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards and curling. He was a Charter Member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepard and a lifetime member of the Oddfellows Lodge Lethbridge #2. He was a great husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend to all who knew him.
