Biographical Comments
James was married to Linda, the love of his life, for 57 years. Jim started on the Vancouver Fire Department in 1963, a job he took great pride in, retiring as a Captain after 30 years. Recently inducted into the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame, he was as humbled by the honour as we were proud. His real pride and joy were his family, who he loved immensely. He is predeceased by his sisters June & Roberta, and his son Robert, who he missed dearly. There is great comfort in knowing they are together again. He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Janet Morton (Gary), son Bruce (Colleen), daughter-in-law Andrea, and his grandchildren Ryan, Kara, Blake, Annie & Jack, who were the bright lights in his life. "Here is my heart, here is my hand". We love you Dad.
