Platoon Chief Carpenter joined the department on June 1, 1964. He
was promoted to lieutenant on November 24, 1982, to captain on
January 9, 1990 and then to platoon chief on January 6, 1997.
Platoon Chief Carpenter retired on February 15, 2000 after serving
the citizens of Lethbridge for 36 years.
