Biographical Comments
Al joined the Red Deer Fire Department July 1, 1965, after serving as a volunteer for several years. He enjoyed his work and the special relationship among fire fighters. He was a remarkable man, a wonderful husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle. A friend to all, he loved and was loved, never asking or expecting anything in return.
