George had a zest for life and gave his best effort to everything he did. Always willing to help others, he had many good friends both on and off the Fire Department. A fine gentleman, good friend, loving husband and caring father, George will always be remembered as a very special person. During his career, George became a Disaster Services Officer and co-founded the CFD Aquatics REscue Team. He was an accomplished pilot, scuba diver, woodworker and artist, for which he found inspiration from his many adventures. His greatest accomplishment was that he earned the respect of everyone he met - a truly fine man.
