Captain R. J. “Ron” Renard joined the Calgary Fire Department on December 11, 1967. He achieved the rank of Captain and regretfully retired on June 5, 1998. Ronald succumbed to colon cancer on July 2, 1998 at the age of 52. Ronald was a loving and devoted husband, stepfather and friend.
