It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Captain Steen Laursen, IAFF 6th District Local 323 -Burnaby, British Columbia. Brother Laursen, 80, passed away on Sept. 6, 2024 after succumbing to occupational cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Nov. 10, 2024 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Beach Club in Craig Bay, 1301 Cape Cod Dr, Parksville, BC V9P 2T5, Canada.
