Harvey was an amazing husband, father and father-in-law. He was compasionate, loving, fair, dependable and hardworking. There were so many things that made him special...he always accepted people for what they were. The Fire Department was such a big part of his life and he was so proud to have been part of "the brotherhood." He is sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Harvey joined the District of North vancouver, BC Fire Department in July 1972. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1985 and Captain in November 1990. Harvey received "The Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal" from Canadian Government in 2001 and the BC Fire Fighters Medal in 2000.
