It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Dann Marchessault of IAFF Local 967 - Saanich, British Columbia. Brother Marchessault passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from colon cancer.

The Funeral Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at First Memorial Funeral Service, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, British Columbia V8Y 1B4, (250) 658-5244. The family invites all active and retired department members to attend the celebration of Dann's life. Members attending should be in full dress uniform.

Biographical Comments
Dann Started his career with the Saanich Fire Department March of 1973 and retired as a Captain March 2003. Dann is survived by his son Wyatt, daughter Courtney, brother Dale, and partner Cathy.
