Born on February 23, 1948 in Vancouver, BC. Died on September 19, 2015 in Ladner, BC at Irene Thomas Hospice. Predeceased by father and mother, William Hunter and Dorothy Muggeridge, and sisters, Lois and Sylvia. Survived by daughter and son, Amanda and William; grandchildren, Robert, Erin, Calla and Griffin; sisters, Dodie and Margaret; and brothers, Bruce and Graham. Like his father, Bill was an avid salmon fisherman and shared his passion with his many friends and family. He also enjoyed sports, travel and small business ventures. Bill was a retired member of the Vancouver Fire Department, a career spanning 29 years, and a dedicated member of the International Association of Fire Fighters, Vancouver Local 18.
