Doug joined the Saanich Fire Department in January 1980 and progressed through the
ranks of Fire Fighter, Lieutenant Inspector, and Assistant Chief in the Training Division,
retiring in March 2007.
Doug was a proud member during his 27-year career with the Department. His
commitment and loyalty to the Department and to the citizens of Saanich was significant
and very much appreciated.
