Biographical Comments
Fire Fighter/Paramedic Nancy Moyer worked fulltime at the Dennis Fire Department from 07/01/1986. She was a brilliant hard working person, always performing her duties with the utmost compassion and commitment to her fellow Fire Fighters and the community. After serving in this role for 34 years Nancy acquired Occupation Breast Cancer in December 23, 2019 which she battled bravely until her retirement in December 23, 2020. Her battle didn't end there, she continued the fight from that day on for several years until her passing after losing her battle April 3, 2024. She will be sorely missed, her memory celebrated, and carried on by her brother and sister fellow Fire Fighters. We will never forget, and rest assured Nancy we will take it from here. The fight will go on, we will do the job, continue to support the research and preventative measures against Occupational Cancer, as well as to support our fellow Fire Fighters and their families standing with them when the fight comes to their door.
