Biographical Comments
A man of passion and loyalty, Billy was a man that lived life to the fullest as a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. Bill brought more than his energy and true dedication to his lifelong pursuit as a 21-year decorated Chicago fire fighter. Billy invented technology that would potentially save lives. Also as a skilled carpenter, he built and designed a community table that united all within his firehouse. He brought back the old firehouse tradition and his belief “One Table, One Family.” Bill’s fire department family has said, “If there was anyone you wanted to cover your back, you’d want Billy.”
