It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Captain Donald Cone, IAFF 10th District Local 3354, Huntington Beach, California. Brother Cone, 58, passed away on Nov. 25, 2023, after succumbing to an occupational cancer.

The funeral service will be held on December 15, 2023 at 10 a.m. at San Francisco Solano Catholic Church, 67 Panorama, Coto de Caza, CA 92679

Biographical Comments
Captain Cone was hired by the HBFD in 1990 as a Firefighter. He was promoted to Firefighter/ Paramedic in 1993 and to Fire Captain in 2004. Captain Cone ended his career working at Magnolia Fire Station on 2020.
