It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Division Chief Norm Nerdahl, IAFF 6th District Local 2770, Grande Prairie, AB. Brother Nerdahl, 78, passed away from prostate cancer on September 17, 2017.

The memorial service will take place on October 28th, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Grande Prairie Legion Branch 54, 9912-101 Ave. Grande Prairie, AB.

The funeral will be private.

Biographical Comments
Norman passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 17th, 2017 in his 78th year at the Points West Hospice in Grande Prairie, Alberta after a battle with Prostate Cancer.

Norman was an Auto Body Mechanic before discovering his real passion as a fire fighter. He was a proud member of the City of Grande Prairie Fire Department and served for over 28 years.

Loving father of Leslie David (Marta), Sherri Lynn (Gordon McNaughton) and Jason Lee. Grandfather to Aaron Nerdahl, and Andrew and Steven McNaughton.
