Website Comments
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our uncle/brother, Fire Captain Bernie Rhodes, who passed away on October 28th. He fought with everything he had in attempt to defeat his 4th cancer diagnoses. There isn't anything we can write to describe how much he will be missed. A large man with an even bigger heart who just wanted to help provide knowledge and guidance but would demand to never receive any recognition. He served as a Firefighter, Engineer and Captain. Majority of his time was served in B1 at station 1 and 4 before then retiring off of Engine 2.
A memorial service will be held at Liberty Baptist Church (6501 W Lake Mead Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89108) on November 15th at 11am.
