It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Captain Steven Cagle, IAFF 10th District Local 1401, Santa Rosa, CA. Brother Cagle, 58, passed away on April 27, 2018 from complications related to a stroke.

Funeral will be held at 11:00 AM on May 19, 2018, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Novato, CA 94947; phone (415) 897-2510.

Biographical Comments
Fire Captain Steve Cagle completed a normal tour of duty in April of 2012, expecting to return to work a few days later. Approximately 16 hours after leaving the fire station, Brother Cagle suffer a life changing and career ending stroke. Brother Cagle has fought fearlessly and tirelessly over the last 6 years to recover. Sadly, Brother Cagle succumbed to his injury and is now at rest
