It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Captain Donald Dallenbach, IAFF 14th District Local 3460 - Hendersonville, Tennessee. Brother Dallenbach, 58, passed away on Jan. 12, 2025 after succumbing to occupational cancer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Long Hollow Church, 3031 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025 at 12 p.m. at the church.
Expressions of sympathy and condolences for the local and the family can be sent to IAFF Local 3460, 242 W Main St PMB 407, Hendersonville, TN 37075.

Biographical Comments
Don Dallenbach aged 58. Born on September 9, 1966, in Taipei, Taiwan, Don had a heart of service and dedicated his life to supporting others, both in his career and in his personal relationships.
But it was his profound love for his family that defined him in later years.
Don was a 1984 graduate of Hendersonville High School.
A proud 32-year member of the Hendersonville Fire Department, Don served as a Captain on C Shift at Station 5, where he was admired for his courage and commitment to the community. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations of firefighters who follow in his footsteps.
As we remember Don Dallenbach, we celebrate a life marked by strength, service, and a deep love for family. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
