It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Captain Eric Scoby, IAFF 8th District Local 50 - Peoria, Illinois. Brother Scoby, 52, passed away on Feb. 17, 2025 after succumbing to occupational cancer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Northwoods Church, 10700 N Allen Rd., Peoria, Illinois 61615. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the same address.
