It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Captain Victor Green, IAFF 14th District Local 514 –Shreveport, Louisiana. Brother Green, 52, passed away on Oct. 6, 2025, after suffering a medical emergency.



Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 10, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Mt Bethel #1 Missionary Baptist Church, 12535 Mansfield Rd, Keithville, Louisiana 71047. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m. at the same location.
