It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Michael Carter, IAFF 1st District Local 94 –New York, New York. Brother Carter, 69, passed away on Nov. 25, 2025 after succumbing to occupational cancer.



Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 5 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 501 Highway 79, Morganville, New Jersey 07751. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Chapel – Old Bridge, 123 White Oak Lane, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
