it is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of fire fighter kevin hegarty of iaff local 1271 - surrey, british columbia. brother hegarty, 53, passed away on tuesday, march 3, 2015 from a stress-related illness.

the funeral service will be held on monday, march 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at peace portal alliance church, 15128 27b avenue, surrey, british columbia v4p 1p2, (604) 531-4733 following the service, a reception will be held in the church gymnasium.

we encourage all members to carpool. the closest additional parking available is at south surrey athletic park (2200 block on 148th street) approximately 2.5 km away. there is some street parking available in the surrounding area.
