It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Firefighter Johnny Tetrick, IAFF 8th District Local 93, Cleveland, Ohio. Brother Tetrick, 51, was struck and killed on Saturday, November 19, 2022 while working an accident scene.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 25, 2022 from 1:00 -4:00 pm and 6:00 -8:00 pm at Willoughby Hills Friends Church, 2846 Som Center Road, Willoughby Hills, Ohio 44094; Phone: (440) 944-1026. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:00 am at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse Arena, ?One Center Court, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.

Biographical Comments
Johnny Tetrick, age 51 of Kirtland, OH. The son of Kris Tetrick and Tsuruko Tetrick (deceased); beloved father of Falon, Regan, and Eden. Johnny dedicated his life to his three girls, who he loved more than anything.

Johnny served the citizens as a dedicated & proud Cleveland Firefighter for 27 yrs.
He served 25 of those years with his brothers at Engine Company #22. He passed away on November 19, 2022, while working on the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

He instilled the same serving spirit and unconditional love into his girls that he showed every civilian, fire fighter, and police officer at every scene he was on.

He loved nothing more than being with family & friends and helping others.

He was a devout Christian and member of Willoughby Hills Friends Church for 12 years and went on many missions' trips across and out of the country.

He died doing what he loved, surrounded by people he loved, and will be forever missed. Johnny's favorite verse was, "Greater love has no one than this, to lay down one's life for his friends." John 15:13 and this is exactly what he did.

Calling hours will be Friday 11/25/22 at Willoughby Hills Friends Church (2846 Som Center Rd, Willoughby Hills, Ohio 44094) from 1-4pm and 6-8pm.

The funeral service will be Saturday 11/26/22 at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse Arena at 11am.

Both the calling hours & funeral service are open to the public.
