It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/Paramedic Tina Mecey, IAFF 2nd District Local 2665 – Professional Firefighters of Eastern Missouri. Sister Mecey, 55, passed away on Jan. 14, 2025 after succumbing to occupational cancer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel and Crematory, 217 W Columbia St, Farmington, Missouri 63640. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the same location.
