It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Platoon Chief Paul Ritchie, IAFF 13th District Local 1092 – Ajax, Ontario. Brother Ritchie, 64, passed away on June 6, 2024 after succumbing to occupational cancer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the Accettone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Ave, Ajax, ON L1S 2E3; phone: (905) 428-9090. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14 at 1 p.m. at the Ajax Convention Centre, 550 Beck Crescent, Ajax, ON L1Z 1C9; phone: (905) 428-9993.
