It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Richard Gillis, IAFF 3rd District Local 950 - Brookline, Massachusetts. Brother Gillis, 55, passed away on Dec. 4, 2024 after succumbing to occupational cancer.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Bell-O’Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington Street, Brookline, MA 02445. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday, Dec. 23, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 5 Linden Place, Brookline, MA 02445.
