It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Driver/Operator Joseph E. Bogdanski, IAFF 3rd District Local 1339 – Waterbury, Connecticut. Brother Bogdanski, 53, passed away on May 8, 2024, after suffering a medical emergency.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. at O'Brien's Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave, Bristol, CT 06010; phone: (860) 583-7116. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m. at Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06702; phone: (203) 574-0017.
