It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant Adelbert Duyvelaar, IAFF 12th District Local 1102- Hialeah, Florida. Brother Duyvelaar, 54, passed away on Jan. 5, 2025 after succumbing to occupational cancer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025 from 6 p.m. until 11:59 p.m. at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 Bird Rd, Miami, FL 33155. A committal service will take place on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th St, Doral, FL 33172.
