It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/Paramedic Sterling Rahe, IAFF 8th District Local 92, Toledo, Ohio. Brother Rahe, 57, passed away on Jan. 1, 2024, after suffering a medical emergency.

Visitation will be held on Jan. 5, 2024 from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623; phone: (419) 841-2422. Funeral and Last Alarm Service will be held on Jan. 6, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Savage Arena on the campus of the University of Toledo, 2025 N Douglas Rd, Toledo, OH 43606; phone: (419) 530-4653.
