It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Firefighter Anthony A. DeSimone, IAFF 3rd District Local 2987, North Haven, Connecticut. Brother DeSimone, 50, passed away on Aug. 24, 2023, after suffering a medical emergency.

Visiting hours will be held on Wed., August 30, 2023, from 3-8 p.m. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven CT 06473; phone: (203) 239-1179. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thurs., August 31, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven CT 06473; phone: (203) 239-1671.
