It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Firefighter David Mason, IAFF 13th District Local 3888, Toronto, Ontario. Brother Mason, 55, passed away on Nov. 1, 2023, after succumbing to an occupational cancer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Bayview Glen Alliance Church, 300 Steeles Ave East, Thornhill, Ontario L3T 1A7; phone: (905) 881-5252. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. at the church.
