It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Captain Travis Ransom, IAFF 8th District Local 5038 – Union, Kentucky. Brother Ransom, 49, passed away on June 21, 2024 after succumbing to occupational cancer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 12-4 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3612 Church St, Covington, KY 41015; phone: (859) 431-0636. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 4 p.m. at the church.
