It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death Lieutenant Ronald Renville, IAFF District 6 Local 18, Vancouver, BC. Brother Renville, 47, passed away from heart disease on May 4, 2019.

The funeral service will be held on May 23, 2019 at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church, 969 Burrard St., Vancouver, BC V6Z 1Y1; phone 604-683-8441.

Biographical Comments
It is with deepest sympathy and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Brother Ron Renville, age 47 of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Brother Renville worked for the Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services for 18 years as a career Firefighter and Acting Lieutenant. Brother Renville passed away on May 4th, 2019 from heart disease.

Acting Lieutenant Ron Renville was an exceptional member of our Local and Department. Ron was known for his skill as a firefighter, his positivity around the hall and his commitment to helping other members in need.

Brother Renville leaves behind his loving wife Kristin, son Ethan, age 14 and daughter Zoe, age 12.
