It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Captain Tad D. Robison, IAFF 16th District Local F-292, Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois. Brother Robison, 52, passed away on April 2, 2023, after succumbing to occupational cancer.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Vibrant Arena at The MARK, 1201 River Dr, Moline, IL 61265; phone: (309) 764-2001, beginning with a Firefighter salute and Masonic service at 3 p.m., immediately followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tues., April 11, 2023 at Vibrant Arena.

Biographical Comments
We regret to inform you that Capt. Tad Robison passed on 02 April 2023 in his parents home in Las Vegas, Nevada from pancreatic cancer. He served 20 years with the Rock Island Arsenal Fire Department and volunteered with Coyne Center Fire Department as well as Sherrard Fire Department.
He will be traveling back to Illinois for services and ceremony Friday 07 April 2023. Public visitation will be at The Vibrant Arena at the Mark of the Quad Cities in Moline, Illinois on Monday 10 April 2023 from 4pm - 8pm. There will be a firefighter ceremonial walkthrough that will be open to any firefighter that would like to pay their respects starting at 2:30pm prior to the public visitation.
Funeral service and LoDD Ceremony will be held in the same location and begin at 10am Tuesday 11 April 2023. Immediately after there will be a pass and review of fire apparatus for the Robison Family starting in the staging area (Vibrant Arena at the Mark Parking lot) and traveling west down river drive. The family will continue to a private committal ceremony at the Rock Island Arsenal Fire Department.
