It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/EMT Anthony A. McVey, IAFF 16th District Local F-25 – Tidewater Federal Fire Fighters (VA). Brother McVey, 47, passed away on May 27, 2024, after suffering a medical emergency.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3920 Airline Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23321; phone: (757) 488-2546.
