It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Matthew Gallina, IAFF 4th District Local 2924 – Virginia Beach, Virginia. Brother Gallina, 48, passed away on Aug. 21, 2024 after succumbing to occupational cancer.

A Celebration of LIfe will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024 at 5 p.m. at Pups and Pints, 2413 London Bridge Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.; phone: (757) 703-7877. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Aug. 26 at 1 p.m. at Harbor Park, 1500 Park Ave, Norfolk, VA 23510; phone: (757) 622-2222.
