It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Steven Solomon of IAFF Local 134 - Atlanta, Georgia. Brother Solomon, 33, died on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, six days after being critically burned while operating a fire. The visitation will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2006 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Snows Memorial Chapel, 746 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201, (478) 743-7417. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Macon Coliseum, 200 Coliseum Drive, Macon, Georgia.
Biographical Comments
Steve was a loving husband, father, and son. His loves were Christ, his family and his job. Steve was very caring and always willing to help those in need. He brightened the room with his wonderful smile and silly comments. His desire and passion for helping others led him to pursue a career as a fire fighter.
