It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Engineer Heath O’Shea, IAFF 12th District Local 122 - Jacksonville, Florida. Brother O’Shea, 44, passed away on April 13, 2024, after suffering a medical emergency.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 10 a.m. at The Prime Osborne Convention Center, 1000 Water Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204. Following the funeral service, a committal service with honors will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207; phone: (904) 737-7171.

Biographical Comments
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Engineer Heath J. O’Shea (age 44). Engineer O’Shea served on the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department for 20 years and was assigned to Tanker-54-C on the Southside. He passed away after a medical emergency at work on 04/13/2024. Engineer O'Shea leaves behind a wife and two children.
