It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Firefighter Gregory P. Garza, IAFF District 11 Local 624, San Antonio, TX. Brother Garza, 49, was struck by a vehicle on October 15, 2019 while working a fire scene.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 5:00 – 6:30 pm followed by a prayer vigil at 7:00 pm at the Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave., San Antonio, TX 78212; phone: (210) 227-8221.

The Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Community Bible Church, 2477 N. Loop 1604 E., San Antonio, TX 78232; phone: (210) 496-5096. No general public please. Private Internment to follow.
