It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of District Chief Scott Marshall, IAFF 8th District Local 526, Lexington, Kentucky. Brother Marshall, 48, passed away on Aug. 15, 2026, from occupational cancer.



Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 21 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Southland Christian Church- Georgetown Campus,134 Amerson Way, Georgetown, Kentucky 40324. A funeral will take place on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. at the same location.
