It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Firefighter Mitchell F. Lundgaard, IAFF District 5 Local 257, Appleton, Wisconsin. Brother Lundgaard, 36, died on May 15, 2019 from a gunshot wound while responding to an emergency call.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Appleton Alliance Church, 2693 Grand Chute Blvd., Appleton, WI 54913; phone: 920-968-0700.

A private funeral service for family only will be held on May 21, 2019.
