It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Captain Courtney Padgett, IAFF 12th District Local 4576 - North Hanover County Professional Fire Fighters Association, North Carolina. Brother Padgett, 45, passed away on Apr. 24, 2024 after succumbing to occupational cancer.

Brother Padgett will be receiving full fire service line of duty funeral honors at Northside Church 2501 N. College Road Monday, Apr. 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Attendees are requested to arrive by 10:30 AM.
