It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant James M. Alexander, IAFF 4th District Local 4202, Hanover, Virginia. Brother Alexander, 59, passed away on February 9, 2022 from occupational heart disease.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Monahan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Parkway, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111; phone: (804) 427-2000. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Fairmont Christian Church, 6502 Creighton Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23111
