It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Firefighter/Engineer Ricky A. Hill, IAFF 8th District Local 352, Flint, Michigan. Brother Hill, 49, passed away on Feb. 25, 2023, after suffering a medical emergency.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint MI 48507; phone: (810) 235-2345. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 West Bristol Road, Flint, MI 48507.
