It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Captain Kevin VanOrden , IAFF 7th District Local I83, Idaho National Laboratory, Blackfoot, Idaho. Brother VanOrden, 62, passed away on May 29, 2023, after succumbing to occupational cancer.

Viewing will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot, ID 83221; phone: (208) 785-1320. Funeral services will be held the following day at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, also at Hawker Funeral Home.
