It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Firefighter/Paramedic Charles D. Swank, IAFF 8th District Local 3036, Washington Township, Ohio. Brother Swank, 39, passed away on December 8, 2022 after suffering a medical emergency.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Storyside Church, 541 State Route 97 W, Bellville, Ohio 44813; phone: (419) 512-9791. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. also at Storyside Church.
