It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Driver/Engineer Charles Westphal, IAFF 12th District Local 3169, Marion County, Florida. Brother Westphal, 53, passed away on Feb. 4, 2024 from complications of Covid-19.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024 at Church @ the Springs, 5424 SE 58th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34480; phone: (352) 624-0545. A graveside service will follow at Highlands Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala, FL 34470.
