It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/EMT Ty Voth, IAFF 2nd District Local 135 – Wichita, Kansas. Brother Voth, 27, passed away on Aug. 1, 2024 after succumbing to injuries from fighting a structural fire.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 9, 2024 from 9-10 a.m. at the Hartman Arena, 8151 North Hartman Arena Drive, Park City, KS 67147; phone#: (316) 744-8880. The funeral service will follow at the Arena at 10 a.m. the same day.

Biographical Comments
Ty was a five-year veteran of the Wichita Fire Department. He was 27 years old when he was killed in the line of duty. Ty was a selfless and dedicated firefighter. He loved his crewmates, and they loved him back. He was a firefighters firefighter and totally in love with what he did.
