It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/Paramedic Matthew Callahan, IAFF 3rd District Local 1347 –Watertown, Massachusetts. Brother Callahan, 38, passed away on Aug. 20, 2025, after succumbing to occupational cancer.



Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Saint Patrick's Church, 212 Main Street, Watertown, Massachusetts 02472. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the same location.
