It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Firefighter/Paramedic Charles “Chuck” McCormick, IAFF District 2 Local 3112, Cass County, MO. Brother McCormick, 30, was killed while battling a house fire on January 5, 2020.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Abundant Life Church, 304 SW Persels Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081; phone (816) 554-8181. A Fire Fighter’s walk-through will occur at 5:30 pm

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 am at Abundant Life Church, 304 SW Persels Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081. Cemetery services will be private, although an apparatus procession to the cemetery will occur.
